Filands Farm

Malmesbury, Wiltshire

All livestock at Filands Farm are kept to the highest standards. They are not treated with any preventative medicines other than fly and wormer treatments. Medical conditions are treated with veterinary intervention and prescription and such medicines are logged in the farms medication record book which is kept in accordance with legal requirements. No animal will be processed for human consumptions whilst within the medicines withdrawal period.

During the summer months cattle graze on herbicide and pesticide free pastures. During the winter months the cattle are kept in well bedded yards and fed with grass silage bales, again from herbicide and pesticide free pastures. Cattle that have recently been ill or calved get isolated from the herd and also receive extra nutrition in the form of cereal based concentrate. All cattle are bread, born and raised at Filands Farm.
